Mattingly Wins the $100,000 Bob Umphrey Turf Sprint at Gulfstream

Mattingly won the $100,000 Bob Umphrey Turf Sprint at Gulfstream Park on September 12, run at five furlongs. Juan J. Hernandez rode the 5-year-old son of Bucchero for trainer Joe Orseno. Owned by Ironhorse Racing Stable with Harlow Stables, Mattingly was bought at the OBS March 2-year-old sale. The win came a week after Tomasello's Grade 3 Singspiel Stakes at Woodbine.
